Non-accredited Fire Awareness
This course provides individuals with a practical understanding of fire safety processes and procedures. The course has been developed to cover a broad range of emergencies and facilities as considered in Australian Standard 3745 and Australian Standard 4083. It teaches individuals to be emergency aware and how to effectively respond to emergencies to contribute to a safer environment at work and in the community.
By completing this course, students will gain a basic understanding of:
• Safe work practices
• Emergency signs, signals and warnings
• Emergency systems and equipment
• Evacuation procedures
• Emergency response procedures
• Fire and emergency prevention
