We are a family-run first aid training service led by Cassie and Jamie MacPherson, both experienced paramedics offering over 30 years of combined frontline expertise. Based in Pie Creek, Gympie, we deliver nationally recognised courses (through Allens Training RTO 90909) with a focus on real-world scenarios, small-group learning, and flexible delivery—from online theory to hands-on practical sessions.

    With a combined 30 + years experience, we are the duo that run Acute First Aid. We have been married for 8 years and have 2 crazy but beautiful children.

    I have been with the QLD Ambulance Service for 13 years as an Advanced Care Paramedic. After frequently attending cases where first aid was not applied that could of made a difference, I feel it is important to ensure the public have the confidence to be able to apply their first aid skills.

    Jamie (Jay) is a Critical Care Paramedic who brings 20+ years experience from both the UK and QLD ambulance services. He brings an abundance of knowledge and skills to the business.
