This entry-level course is designed for people who want to learn the key elements of first aid. It will arm you with the life saving skills that you need to perform in an emergency situation, in those vital minutes before the ambulance arrives.

Prerequisites: Nil

Course content:
All CPR course content with the addition of:
• Calling for an Ambulance
• Primary Assessment / DRABCD Action Plan
• Rescue breathing
• Apply Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Resuscitation barrier devices
• Occupational Health & Safety Act
• External bleeding, nose bleeds and amputations
• Shock
• Medical Conditions: Asthma, Chest Pain, Seizures and choking
